Kitchen hood duct cleaning with a rotary brush machine
Grease that gets past the hood and filters ends up in the duct, out of sight. HoodEx uses professional duct-cleaning machinery with a rotary brush, fed through the ductwork from a control unit, to clean sections that hand-cleaning alone cannot reach. It is part of our kitchen hood and duct cleaning work for restaurants, hotels, cloud kitchens and homes.
What's included
- Full internal duct runs, including sections that need mechanical brush access
- Cleaning along the entire duct run, not just what is visible from an access point
- Layered grease deposits removed from the duct interior
Signs it needs cleaning
- Grease visible at duct access panels
- A strong smell of old cooking oil in the kitchen or dining area
- Grease marks around the exhaust outlet
- Smoke or heat that clear slowly
- A duct that has not been cleaned in years
How we do it
A control unit drives a rotating brush on a flexible cable through the duct, scrubbing the grease from the inside surface. The machine reaches sections that are difficult or impossible to clean by hand.
Duct cleaning can be booked on its own or as part of the complete exhaust system service, so the hood, filters, duct and fan are cleaned in one coordinated visit.
